AICE Media Studies

       In the continuing of my project there have begun to be new setbacks. The first setback being that thanksgiving break is upon us and I will be going out of town. I am leaving town for almost 9 days and I will be busy so I will most likely not have time to work on filming or other aspects of the project. With this being said it is going to be hard to be able to progress at this time. Also when I come back from break I will most likely have a lot of work from other classes to work on. I will wanna get those out of the way and complete them before I begin with this again. Another thing that will set me back is the actors that will be featured in my music video. The actors have their own personal things to do. Some have to work and others have to spend time with their loved ones and families because of the holidays. I do in fact expect to be back on track the week after break. I will be able to get everything straight and organized for my music video. One other setback that I have co

 First Scene During the first scene I will be filming a shot of the first setting which is the bed. This shot will be filmed at a low angle slowly progressing upwards towards the ceiling. It portrays that there are actors under the blanket in the bed. This allows the viewer to get an understanding of the mood and feeling in the video further to come. Second Scene The next scene will be filmed from head on with the bed. This is a zoom shot. As the camera zooms more and more it gives a sense of importunateness and attention. After displaying the bed the main actor emerges from under the blanket. The other actors remain under the blanket. The main actor is wearing the pajama costume along with a furry hat. Third Scene  In this scene the other three actors emerge from the blanket at once wearing the pajama costume along with Santa hats, fuzzy or furry hats, and a Santa beard. This shot is captured with a wide shot to capture all the actors and continue to touch on the setting which is the

  Song Title The song that I chose for my music video is "Santa Tell Me" by Ariana Grande Props Since I decided to film a Christmas / festive music video, My main props are Christmas decorations, blankets, and Santa beards. Costumes  My main costumes are festive pajamas and my other costume components include, Santa hats, fuzzy hats, and other festive accessories.  Schedule On 11/13/2022  I researched conventions and codes of Christmas music videos and Ariana Grandes Music videos. On 11/14/2022 I established the props, costumes, schedule, location list, health and safety protocols and a backup plan. On 11/17/2022 I will create the story board for my music video. On 12/1/2022 I will start my filming process and record the proper shots I need for my music video.  I am doing a Christmas music video. I got my inspiration from Ariana Grande's ""Santa Tell Me"" music video. The actors take part in a performance within a bed.  -The actors wear costumes that consist of pajamas and furry hats along with reindeer antlers and Santa hats.  -The props they use include the furry hats along with the bed sheets. They also use fake Santa beards. -Their appearance is cozy, comfortable, and lazy. They are warm and cheerful.  -The score is relaxing and calming while also being soft. There is festive music and the main subject or actors voice is very smooth. The jingle bells bring joy and excitement. It is a cozy warm feeling when watching. It is also very fun and the lyrics talk about if a boy wants her or not.  -The conventions and code in this music video is to spread the Christmas spirit and spread joy to viewers. It is also a correlation of a love song as the lyrics correlate so.  -In the commercial they use many actors to feel the s

        For my music video project I will be working alone. I want to work alone because I feel it will be more efficient. I do not have to meet up with other classmates and have to work along with their schedules. Working alone also means I can be as creative as I want to be and I do not have to compromise on an idea with another person. I can get work done efficiently on my own time and expense. During this project I will be able to express my own interests  and use my own personal style. I thought about working in a group with my friends but I shortly reconsidered. I reconsidered because often when working in groups people don't like to do their part. You have to depend on others to get their part done and when they don't do their part it causes conflict and your project may have gaps in it. Working alone may put more work upon myself but I know that I can do the entire thing the right way and I wont have to depend on others. Furthermore I like working alone because I person

          I am back for my second project and I am really looking forward to it as I have learned many things through the first project . A little refresher about me is that I play baseball and golf but nowadays it is mainly golf.  Golf has helped me a lot with my mental thinking. You get faced with so many challenges you don't even realize. It's a complete mental game, if your head isn't in the game, you are for sure not going to succeed and that goes for anything in life. I also enjoy working at the golf course. I worked at the golf course the entire summer and I met some amazing people along with getting great life experiences. Along with playing golf I enjoy boating. Me and my girlfriend go on the boat quite often. We don't really get the chance anymore because of school but we used to go at least 2 or 3 times a week during the summer. I enjoy going on the boat because it is just very peaceful and calming out on the water. It can be very relaxing when you don't
