Closing Time...

 Hello again, today is March 9th, and I am almost at the end of this project. My movie has really shaped up since the last blog which was my start to the editing process. I got some input from some fellow students and how their productions have turned out. And mine may not be the best but I am still happy with how it has turned out. This production from start to finish took over a month because Junior year has been really hard and I have been trying to juggle SAT and ACT prep while keeping up with my grades and all my other work / tests. It gets very busy. For this project, just like all my other productions, I used my iPhone to film. Using an iPhone is just so simple and easy. It has an integrated camera that shoots in 4k quality and to edit all I have to do is select the clips and transfer them. It is extremely simple and the most convenient way to do this. I have covered a lot of content regarding this production. Coming up I have many exams as the semester is concluding which puts a lot of stress on myself. I am quite pleased with myself though because I did not wait until the final deadline date to start my work. I have managed very well. I felt the need to spread everything out and do little pieces at a time so I could minimize my stress. As far as my editing has gone, I added music and writing to add mood and context to the production and cast of the film. I also added words at the end to sort of wrap up my movie and conclude it. The editing process was not too hard but the combination of clips definitely was the most challenging part. Looking back on this production and re-watching it, I can see many aspects that I have improved or changed from my previous films, but I am still no professional and I continue to improve my production skills day by day but this is a significant improvement. I am proud of this production, it shows how I have progressed in a sense with my production skills But I still feel like it is not Amazing. This is my last blog, so farewell. I am glad I am coming to an end on my work and bringing everything together.

      Hello there! Today is the 10th of April and it is Monday. Last Friday me and my group met again. We all met at Zane's house and began to re-film everything. We took new perspectives and began to film shot by shot. We started by having Kyle act as his character and get up for the day. He began to get ready to start working on his car and we captured that. We used Kyle's car as it was the best fitting. All of our cars are newer and did not really fit the part. We got many shots and they came out very very well. It took us only about 2 hours to film everything. It was extremely hot as we filmed outside and we made sure that we had plenty of water to stay hydrated. Zane has elected himself to edit everything but I will also help him. Helping him with the editing will just make everything better. So It Begins...

    Hello again!!! Today is Monday and I am back for the first production blog of this project and I am waiting and waiting to film. I am extremely eager and I can't wait to one up my last production which was the music video. I did that production alone, so I am expecting this one to blow it out of the water. I have been brain storming over and over in my head to jot down ideas about how me and my group can go about filming this music video. We plan to film this weekend as it is pretty much the first free time we have had to be able to film with the other actors if necessary and our designated filmer. Life has been slammed for all of us I know that. With school it has been extremely stressful. The SAT just occurred so that set back many plans because focusing on that was of the top importance. Last Blog!!!!

 Hello! Today is the 13th of April and it is Thursday. Zane finished editing our film and I am happy to say it is done. I feel that this film turned out so good and it has been a long time coming. All of the shots that we decided to use came out rly good. A lot of my ideas were implemented as I was the producer of the film. We used various angles to add meaning and capture significance of certain shots. Our overall film ended up being 2 minutes and 6 seconds. Kyle did an awesome job playing the character Travis Waddle. He acted the parts out very well and kept his composure through the whole production. Our film is very good in my opinion and i even had some peers look at it and they were impressed. On a final note today we had severe flooding here in my city and they had to close schools. We got up to 25 inches of rain in 24 hours and people were stuck everywhere.
