producton blog- delay

 On 10/11/2022 I did not get to edit yet. I downloaded the software that I will be using to edit my commercial clips though. I have not really been able to edit or work on my commercial recently. I haven't been able to work recently because there has been a lot going on at school. There was an incident regarding a fellow student. In turn class was pushed back a couple days. I was not focused on my commercial or editing at the time.  The weekend then hit and I was not focused on any school work. I was very busy with sports and other activities with my friends that I didn't work on my commercial. My filming came out good and I am pretty sure I have enough scenes for the whole commercial. I plan to edit in the coming days and make all the clips flow together. I plan to use iMovie to edit my commercial. iMovie is a very simple software that I have used for years and am familiar with. In class today I worked on this production blog today in class. I have followed all of my procedures to get everything done in a timely fashion. During my editing I plan to add music over it. I want to overlay the music because the audio on the scenes now is very bland and dull. Along with adding music I also want to add the Taylormade logo at the end to remind and make clear of the product in the commercial. As I get further and further into this project I am learning so much bout films and how they are mad. Below I put a sample of iMovie, the editing software I will be using. I can't wait until my final product of my 30 second commercial is done.

 Hello again!!! Today is Monday and I am back for the first production blog of this project and I am very excited that I have completed my filming of the opening scene. This scene has begun by setting the tone for the horror film which will unfold scene by scene. With each passing day my momentum of filming gains traction and I am starting to get into a groove. With my opening scene I filmed it in my girlfriends room and played with lighting and other factors. I did not want it to be too bright as that would give too much of an energetic vibe and that is not the tone of the film at all. Instead of turning on the celing lights I used a lamp as it was moodier and not as in your face. Another tactic that I used was to add props to give a further meaning to the character in the film. My girlfriend has done an amazing job being the actor so far and I really enjoy being the filmer. Closing Time...

 Hello again, today is March 9th, and I am almost at the end of this project. My movie has really shaped up since the last blog which was my start to the editing process. I got some input from some fellow students and how their productions have turned out. And mine may not be the best but I am still happy with how it has turned out. This production from start to finish took over a month because Junior year has been really hard and I have been trying to juggle SAT and ACT prep while keeping up with my grades and all my other work / tests. It gets very busy. For this project, just like all my other productions, I used my iPhone to film. Using an iPhone is just so simple and easy. It has an integrated camera that shoots in 4k quality and to edit all I have to do is select the clips and transfer them. It is extremely simple and the most convenient way to do this.
