We need to film!!!


Hello! After this week, I'm ready to get back to work. I also think the break was well-deserving and much-needed. I was able to meet with everyone and get back into the swing of things, our first week back at school. Today, when I met with my group, I realized that a problem had caused so many worries. Because none of them could do anything after school this week, we had a hard time deciding when to film. We tried to find a time that worked, and we agreed to meet on Tuesday. However, Zane came up with a much better plan later. I will be traveling for my birthday, which is on April 3, so I will not be able to meet with my group this weekend. Although there was nothing I could do to assist my group, I was somewhat upset. Having said that, zane had a good idea. While I am absent, he and the other two group members will meet to film. Although it excludes me, it is the only option. Additionally, since Kyle is the sole protagonist or main character of the film and the film is based on his life and emotions, I am not required to attend. In order to remain involved, I intend to edit the footage and add my input to make it the best it can be. I'll also catch anything they might have missed. I believe this will be successful. Despite the fact that I will be separated of the film making, I'm still separated of the cycle nevertheless extraordinarily significant and effective to the eventual outcome. I hope everything goes according to plan for them so that we can meet our due date without any problems. I'm looking forward to a wonderful birthday as well, and I'm thrilled to have another year. I will be back soon with more updates, and I hope we are just one step closer to making our movie and finishing this production. For now, farewell!

 Hello again!!! Today is Monday and I am back for the first production blog of this project and I am very excited that I have completed my filming of the opening scene. This scene has begun by setting the tone for the horror film which will unfold scene by scene. With each passing day my momentum of filming gains traction and I am starting to get into a groove. With my opening scene I filmed it in my girlfriends room and played with lighting and other factors. I did not want it to be too bright as that would give too much of an energetic vibe and that is not the tone of the film at all. Instead of turning on the celing lights I used a lamp as it was moodier and not as in your face. Another tactic that I used was to add props to give a further meaning to the character in the film. My girlfriend has done an amazing job being the actor so far and I really enjoy being the filmer. Closing Time...

 Hello again, today is March 9th, and I am almost at the end of this project. My movie has really shaped up since the last blog which was my start to the editing process. I got some input from some fellow students and how their productions have turned out. And mine may not be the best but I am still happy with how it has turned out. This production from start to finish took over a month because Junior year has been really hard and I have been trying to juggle SAT and ACT prep while keeping up with my grades and all my other work / tests. It gets very busy. For this project, just like all my other productions, I used my iPhone to film. Using an iPhone is just so simple and easy. It has an integrated camera that shoots in 4k quality and to edit all I have to do is select the clips and transfer them. It is extremely simple and the most convenient way to do this.  Good Morning, I personally found this video very resourceful and helpful since he provided a lot of tips based on different sections of a filmmaking process. This information and knowledge will for sure help me in the future since I felt like I could relate to a lot of his tips. Some useful information I retained from it is important to keep my budget in mind and your resources to be realistic and know what I am working with. A further relevant tip that he mentioned that I had never thought of before, is that my first instinct is what my audience is expecting, so I should go the other way.
