Hello again!!! Today is Monday and I am back for the first production blog of this project and I am very excited that I have completed my filming of the opening scene. This scene has begun by setting the tone for the horror film which will unfold scene by scene. With each passing day my momentum of filming gains traction and I am starting to get into a groove. Hello again, today is March 9th, and I am almost at the end of this project. My movie has really shaped up since the last blog which was my start to the editing process. It has an integrated camera that shoots in 4k quality and to edit all I have to do is select the clips and transfer them. It is extremely simple and the most convenient way to do this. I have covered a lot of content regarding this production. Coming up I have many exams as the semester is concluding which p...
Good Morning, I personally found this video very resourceful and helpful since he provided a lot of tips based on different sections of a filmmaking process. This information and knowledge will for sure help me in the future since I felt like I could relate to a lot of his tips. Some useful information I retained from it is important to keep my budget in mind and your resources to be realistic and know what I am working with. A further relevant tip that he mentioned that I had never thought of before, is that my first instinct is what my audience is expecting, so I should go the other way. H e also highlighted the importance of letting the theme and tone guide the story, as they will shape it and help build i t in accordance with the movement, angles, mise- en - scene, and prop s. Another piece of information that really opened my eyes was his insight into sound. According to the video, sound is a priority: he insists on getting the rig ht gear if there is ...
