off to a slow start

Hello!! Today is Thursday the 15th and I am back with my second production blog. Today is a little weird because I haven't been able to film all week . I have been trying to fit it in but life has been really busy. So with that said I need to find another time to film again and get this project on a good path to success. I have everything ready and planned out, I just need time to film and get all of the other shots I need. This can be really tricky because my schedule is always changing and because I play a sport full time and try to practice as much as possible.  Which in a sense is a good thing but it makes it super tricky when it comes to planning a good filming day.  I have also planned to bring all the props and costumes when I plan to film and I am quite sure it will go smoothly.  I want to take my time and be professional with this project as it is my final one in this course and I hope that I can see improvements from my very first production which was the commercial that I did on the golf ball. I made it very sloppy and did not take all the time that I should have to get the right shots and edit smoothly and without cuts or pauses that may have made the whole film look cheap or crappy. I know that in my last project I learned a lot working with Zane, Kyle, and Jackson but with this project I wanted to go back on my own and film my own thing and show what I could make with just my brain and my will. I can get work done efficiently on my own time and expense and during this project I will be able to express my own interests  and use my own personal style. I thought about working in a group again with my friends but I shortly reconsidered. Working alone like this may put more work upon myself but I know that I can do the entire thing the right way and I wont have to depend on others to get their part done. I think independence is also a good skill to learn but so is collaborating and that is why I have done both over the two years that I have been in this class.
